For this unique show Joe was accompanied by his stalwart band members Phil Capaldi, Neil R. Gauntlett and Dave Nilo, along with daughter Sam Brown and producer son Pete. Also making an appearance were some Very Special Guests including Mark Knopfler, Jools Holland, Dave Edmunds, Dennis Locorriere, Chas & Dave and Henry Gross.
Joe is one of this country’s greats and to still be making great music playing to packed houses along with regular TV appearances is a real achievement. Not to mention having an album, "The Very Best Of", in the charts for eight weeks and the Top 20 for four.
Joe shot to fame in the 60s, survived the 70s, stormed through the 80s and returned with a new record deal in the 90s. This decade has seen him go from strength to strength. He’s played Glastonbury and TV’s "Later With Jools Holland". He closed the show at the Tribute Concert for George Harrison with a memorable version of "I’ll See You In MY Dreams" and he’s headlined festivals and played lengthy sell-out tours year in, year out.
Now Joe will embark on a 50th anniversary UK tour that promises to be in a league all of its own. It is, indeed, one show not to be missed
